No. 10, The Invisible Green Man

This montage combines Marko Djurica's portrait of a Green Man and Salvador Dalí's painting, The Invisible Man (1932), which was completed during the Surrealist painter's 'paranoia-critical' phase. This was Dali's first attempt to create a double image by depicting a seated man among ruined buildings in a desolate landscape. In the Green Men collection, by warping the proportions of the Ukrainian separatist, the image aims to indict both Putin's militaristic agenda and the political ambitions of the pro-Russian faction.
